With the Olympics now fully underway in PyeongChang, let’s take a look back at the week that was for the Olympic Sports at Boston College
The men’s and women’s swim teams capped of their regular seasons over the weekend, taking part in the Boston Winter Open hosted by BU. Facing the team from Northeastern along with Boston University, a number of Eagles had strong showings. With the swimmers selected for the conference team sitting out, 47 different Eagles swam to lifetime-best times in their final meet of the season.
Caroline Quindlen had the highest honors of the day, winning the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 57.03, good four fourth best all time in program history. Caroline Evans nearly matched Quindlen when she finished the 100 yard butterfly in 57.01, good for fifth best in program history.
