TENNIS
Both the men’s and women’s tennis teams earned a weekend split against ACC opponents, with the men finally breaking a long losing streak that had lasted for more than a month. The men’s team fell 6-1 to Florida State on Thursday before bouncing back for their first ACC win of the season against Miami. The 4-3 win came on the backs of Derek Austin, Chris Grasel, Marcus Noby, and Sean Mullins, all of whom won singles matches to lead the Eagles to victory. The win will hopefully give BC some momentum as they take on Wake Forest and Georgia Tech this weekend in their last two matches of regular season play.
The women’s team had a reverse of the men’s weekend, winning their Friday match with Notre Dame 4-3 before falling to Georgia Tech 6-1 on Sunday. Asiya Dair, Kylie Wilcox, and Elene Tsokilaud won singles victories for BC in their win over Notre Dame.
