I’m happy and I’m sad at the same time. For one, I’m ecstatic the season is saved. At 2-3 going up against one of the cupcake teams in the league, Houston should end up 3-3, and then we actually get an exciting important game again, TEXANS-JAGUARS, the AFC South apocalypse. It’s great the offense is super cool again and Romeo Crennel is back to running interesting blitzes to create interior pressure and that after four years we are finally seeing J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney hold hands and dismantle offenses, limb by limb, like some Japanese horror story. But, at the same time, I was so ready for the Bill O’Brien era to end. He has wasted enough of everyone’s lives. This team has underperformed its talent for too long. I’ve had enough of it. Instead, at 2-3, and a possible 3-3, things are saved and interesting and there’s no way he gets yanked.
