Jones has spent the last two seasons with the Miami Dolphins as their assistant defensive backs coach. He’s worked with Dolphins defensive coordinator Matt Burke, who was the Bengals’ linebackers coach before leaving with former Bengals secondary coach Vance Joseph in 2016.
Jones previously was the defensive backs coach at Wisconsin during the 2015 season. In his lone season there, he helped the Badgers lead the nation with seven passing touchdowns allowed.
