Bears Training Camp; day 5 injury report
The Bears have 5 days of training camp under their belt, including a few days in full pads. There are a handful of significant injuries to report and update on.
Zach Miller, TE: Currently going through concussion protocol. This occurred on Sunday during practice, although no specific incident was mentioned, Miller felt funny Sunday night and Monday morning, therefore, the delayed symptoms of a concussion put him on the protocol.
Eddie Royal, WR: Left practice Sunday on a cart and is now going through concussion protocol.
Leonard Floyd, LB (Rookie): Floyd is not off to the best start injury wise, he left the first day of training camp due to an illness and is now dealing with a minor shoulder injury but is practicing on a limited basis.
Kyle Long, G: Long has been nursing a left calf sprain and has been in a walking boot, but it appears the injury is showing improvement every day.
Finally, there are 3 minor ankle injuries to note: CB Kyle Fuller, TE Ben Braunecker and WR Josh Bellamy.
