1 – #4 Clemson Tigers (6-0, 3-0, S&P+ #2) – Last Week: 1
Dang, Clemson. The Tigers got out to a slow start but eventually turned on the jets and flew past Wake Forest. Just about everything went right for Clemson on Saturday. Trevor Lawrence returned after missing the end of the Syracuse game to complete 20 of 25 passes for 175 yards and 2 TDs. The three-headed RB monster of Travis Etienne, Adam Choice, and Lyn-J Dixon all topped 125 yards rushing with at least 12 yards per carry. The defense held one of the conference’s most productive passing offenses to just 74 yards. WR Hunter Renfrow played three positions. Just a tremendous performance all around.
