After serving a 3-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, Willie Snead is preparing to make an immediate impact in week 4.
The Saints’ QB Drew Brees has been extremely effective so far through the team’s first three games. He is averaging 289 passing yards per game, and has already thrown 6 TDs with zero interceptions.
Snead is looking to take advantage of Brees’ hot start. He will be an excellent addition to Michael Thomas and Ted Gin Jr. for the veteran QB. Snead and Brees have proven their chemistry over the past couple seasons. The duo connected on 72 receptions for 895 yards and 4 TDs last season. The WR may have to fight for targets this year, as the offense has been clicking through the first three games.
Snead is likely going to make an immediate impact for the Saints. He has shown that he can put up big numbers in a hurry. The Saints haven’t run the ball very well to begin the season so Brees has been getting the chance to put up massive numbers. The addition of Snead will put a hamper on Gin Jr. and Fleener, but Brees will likely look to spread the ball. Snead is looking more like a legitimate flex option in the coming weeks.
