The Cincinnati Bengals released their unofficial depth chart ahead of their first preseason game against Tampa Bay on Friday night. The Bengals list running back Jeremy Hill their RB1. Which should be no surprise to anyone. Hill has been the work horse for the Bengals.  In 2016, Hill ran for 839 yards and scored nine touchdowns. He led the Bengals in rushing yards last year.

What has everyone talking is second round pick Joe Mixon and if he will start. Mixon is a versatile running back by not only having size for his rushing, but he can catch the ball as well. In two years at Oklahoma, Mixon rushed for 2027 yards for 17 touchdowns and 65 receptions for 894 yards and nine touchdowns. Mixon can also be used in returning punts and kickoffs.

Jeremy Hill has proven himself for the past three years with the Cincinnati Bengals. As long as Hill stays healthy, and short of having a terrible season, Hill will be the number one running back for the Bengals.
